Eric is a passionate individual who shines brightest when entertaining, planning, and collaborating to execute the visions of others while hosting events. \u201cI love all people\u201d is Eric\u2019s motto, and it shows in how well he works with everyone. <br><br>Eric is the Program Specialist for the Office of Student Affairs at The University of Maryland School of Dentistry. Eric\u2019s role at UMSOD aligns with Eric&#8217;s Communication degree from Towson University and his hosting as he is responsible for working with student-led organizations and department leads on social events at the university. He is also a member of several work groups at The University of Maryland School of Dentistry that promotes diversity, equity, and inclusion. <br><br>Eric is all about optimism, positivity, love, clear communication and finding ways to bring people together and offer different perspectives on life. Eric believes that life is the one gift that you have daily opportunities to open and explore. As a host and in his everyday life Eric\u2019s exuberant personality is felt by everyone he meets. Long-term, Eric\u2019s goals are to host major music and film events and one day start his own production company. <br><br>Today, Eric is preparing to release his new podcast \u201cDo It For The Love\u201d with co-host Comacell Brown. On top of that Eric\u2019s popularity as a host in his hometown of Annapolis Maryland and surrounding areas is picking up steam. While being a host and planner by nature Eric has made his passion a business in recent years, hosting several local festivals with over 1,000 people; Weddings; Retreats; Sweet 16s; Homecomings; Reunions; Banquets; Zoom conferences; and more. <br><br>Having an autistic teenage son changed his life forever. Eric has educated himself and others on his son\u2019s neurological disorder while promoting unconditional love, support, and patience to the world. During the month of April to celebrate \u201cAutism Awareness\u201d Eric does IG Lives called \u201cWe Speak Wednesdays\u201d where himself, co-host Ashley Johnson and other parents of kids on the spectrum share stories and information with hopes of educating and building a community that\u2019s there to always support each other. His life is a personal testament to self-belief and never giving up on your goals, dreams, family, or the world. He believes we all need to coexist in this world to secure a promising future. Eric sees this as impossible without communication, understanding, accountability and growth.
