Biography

Ratasha Harley, originally from Hawai’i, relocated to Annapolis in 2007. She is a dedicated wife, mother of four, historian, educator, and community advocate.

She attendedJohns Hopkins University andĀ holds a Bachelor of Science in History from Bowie State University.

With over a decade of experience volunteering and working within Annapolis public schools, Ratasha built lasting connections with families throughout the city. Driven by her passion for service and children’s welfare, she founded One Annapolis, Inc., a nonprofit focused on uplifting underserved communities.

Her upbringing in Hawai’i instilled in her the values of community and cultural diversity, inspiring her vision for uniting the city of Annapolis. Ratasha is also deeply committed to environmental stewardship, serving as the leader of Unity Gardens, a nonprofit that provides grants for volunteer-led conservation landscaping projects using native plants.
